Achieved M.Sc degree with Mathematics in 1983, from University of Yangon .

Activities in the University are:

•  General Secretary of Mathematics Association in Yangon University
•  Executive Member of Pegu Hall ( Yangon University )
•  Worked as the general secretary of Yangon University Youth    Association, after attending the necessary training at Hpaung Gyi
•  General Secretary of University Blood Bank
•  General Secretary of Yangon University Buddhist Association

Penetrate into film business as a Production manager in 1983, with the feature film “The second heartbreak of the third age”. The actors Nyunt Win and Tun Wai achieved the academy awards in that particular film.

After attending the 1/84 Film Director Training conducted by Movie Association, produced over (20) video plays and (18) feature movies.

From 1989 to 1995, acted as treasurer, joint secretary and as general secretary respectively in Movie Association.

Always participated in activities done by the nation. Always dutifully accepted the demands asked by the Nation, the Ministries, and the Municipal department. Always fulfill their wishes with the work of art.

Directed a movies called "Which city damsel can compare" in 1992 and another movie "The white sand crystal" in 1994 for Ministry of Construction.

Made a movie to honour the Government of the Nation, called "The dreamy art work under the Lovely silhouette" in 1991 and the whole film was made with the background of the rebuilt palace building in Mandalay . To honour the seventh Anniversary of the State Peace and Development Counsel (S.P.D.C), directed a T.V movie named "Even the greatest ocean has a boundary bank" in 1992.

During 1993 to 1999, made six TV shown movies respectively for honouring the Union Solidarity and Development Association (U.S.D.A) namely;

(1) The Lighted lamp at the ceiling sky (1993)
(2) Stars shine in sky and flowers bloom on Earth (1994)
(3) The memoir of the heart (1995)
(4) River Irrawaddy the supreme witness (1996)
(5) King Lions' forces which will rise up to the sky (1998)
(6) Our Nation, happily prosperous (1999)

Also produced two movies for honouring of same U.S.D.A in the years 2001 and 2005, they were;

(1) The unmitigated golden country surrounded by the shining stars.
(2) Yoma stars boundaries of the flowers mountain

In 1997, made a film in the honour of Myanmar Woman affairs Federation which is named “Those who process Eternal Love".

Also served for the Old Pegu Hostellers ( Yangon University ) as the chairman from 1995 to recent year.

In 1994, Sin Yaw Mg Mg was awarded the best producer and best director for the feature movie "The foreign damsel Ma Shwe Htar".

This film also achieved best picture, best male actor and best supporting music which added up to four Academy awards in just one year. This film and the director were also invited by the ASEAN film festival which was initiated in CAMBODIA in 1997.

In 2002, a video play was made to honour M.W.A.F, which was named "The winter, which destroys Monsoon winds".

The masterpiece of Sinyaw Mg Mg was a picture named "The Mystery of Snow". It was and is still an international standard movie and was filmed on the snowy mountains of Pon Kan Razi, Kachin State .

Because this picture was edited, developed and processed at Cini Colour Company ( Bangkok ) and because it was neatly and carefully processed, the film received seven Academy Awards, namely;

(1) Best Director
(2) Best Film
(3) Best Film Editing
(4) Best Script writer
(5) Best cenemotographer
(6) Best sound
(7) Best supporting Actor.
